"I live in the middle of Braveheart Country in Scotland.
I took this picture the other night while I was trying to drain my camera battery so I could recharge it.
I have been taking orb pictures for about a year and this is one of the best ones I have taken in a few months.
I appreciate there are many different (natural everyday) phenomena that can create orbs......we
have all done the dust bunny test and the water droplet test... along with several other tests... but
one thing I have concluded from all the tests I have done, is the "real" orbs are intelligent.
You can ask them to appear in places and if they are up for the challenge which I have found to
be the case, they do as you ask. Now it is my knowledge that dust, pollen, moisture do not
show any intelligence, which is how I distinguish real orbs from the fakes.
I like to take photo's at night when it is wet and windy. I usually shelter myself in a dry position
and ask the storm chasers (orbs which like these conditions) to ride the wind.... and they do.
You can clearly see the difference between the rain droplets and the real orbs. If I have had a
quiet night with no visible orbs... I normally say "ok guys lets make these last shots work, I'm
running out of space on my camera", and they ALWAYS oblige me!
I've been seeing orbs for almost a year now...........during the daytime they are transparent and
rain down in clusters ....some days are better than others for seeing them. At night and in my
home they are more opaque and can be seen darting at speed through the room and through walls
and doors.
On one occasion not so long ago I stood talking to my husband in the middle of the
living room and shrieked as an orb came through the wall towards me, almost on collision
course, I actually lost my balance trying to avoid it. That orb was the size of a tea plate/saucer,
very dense and disappeared through the kitchen wall.
That was one of the best sightings I've had of them using my eyes, and my eyes only!"

"After looking at the photo, we found what appears to be the image of another cat on the body of the
cat in the photo.
We do agree with Elly regarding orbs that show intelligence. It does seem an excellent way
to distinguish between "true" and "false" orbs.
Thanks for submitting your great photo Elly!"
