~ Mt. San Jacinto ~ Rising above Palm Springs, California
In February 2003, we (Kat and Carl) visited sunny Southern California on vacation, to visit
some of our old stomping grounds (both of us grew up in Southern California).
While we were there, we had the opportunity to visit a local cemetery in the Coachella Valley, where Carl
is originally from.
If you've never heard of the Coachella Valley, it's a desert valley located about 120 miles east of Los Angeles.
One of the most famous cities in the country, if not the world, is located there, and that's
the city of
Palm Springs.
~ Coachella Valley Cemetery ~
The Coachella Valley Cemetery is a smaller one, but it's very well kept, and is actually quite nice.
Regardless of it's size, it does seem to be very active. We were actually quite surprised at the anomalies
that showed up in some of our photos.
