This beautiful and historic cemetery, located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, opened for business in 1907.
There are a few citizens, prominent in the early history of this area, that are buried here.
Perhaps the most famous of these citizens, is Adolph Coors, founder of the Coors brewery that's
located in the city of Golden.
There are a few stories and legends that surround this cemetery.
The two most interesting and factual stories, involve the mausoleum itself, and a tragic
event that took place on the cemetery grounds.
We have not been able to verify the date as of yet, or the circumstances, but approximately
12 or so years ago, there were two murders that occurred on the fourth floor of the mausoleum.
The mausoleum is reported, by employees and by a couple of paranormal investigation groups,
to be very haunted.
The second story, and we have verified this, revolves around two small aircraft that collided in
mid-air over, or near the cemetery. One of the two aircraft did in fact crash into the cemetery
after the collision, killing 3 people on the aircraft.
Both of these stories could help to explain this cemetery's unusually high paranormal activity.
During each one of the three times we have investigated this cemetery, we experienced the very strong
sensation of being followed as we walked around both the cemetery grounds, and the mausoleum.
